Professional Training in Working With Eating Disorders and Distressed Eating & Neurodiversity
Overview of Courses
Eating disorders of all types are complex in themselves and perhaps are only uncovered once a patient has sought therapeutic support for other issues. My training is designed to give counsellors and health professionals a toolkit to help support those suffering and tailor approach to their specific needs expecially if they are Neurodivergent as we need to work in a person centred way in order to be effective and achieve success.
Eating disorders are potentially serious but treatable mental health problems. Both you and your clients need specific, practical evidence-based skills to foster lasting change.
Who is eligible for this training?
Health professionals who have an interest in furthering their understanding of eating disorders. In particular counsellors & therapists, GPs, School Nurses and other first point of contact staff from charitable bodies and those of the NHS.
